BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land locate in the 7400 block of Shallowford Road, being off the southwest line of Shallowford Road southeast of Gunbarrel Road. Part of lots 1-7, block 5, and part of an unopened street right-of-way along the southwest line of lot 7, block 5, Brookshire Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 12, page 39, R.O.H.C. To find the true point of beginning of said parts of lots and part of street, start on the southwest line of Shallowford Road 698 feet southeast of the intersection of the southwest line of Shallowford Road with the southeast line of Gunbarrel Road, thence southwest 725 feet parallel to Gunbarrel Road to the true point of beginning, thence southeast 117 feet parallel to Shallowford Road, thence southwest 595 feet parallel to Gunbarrel Road to the southwest line of said unopened street right-of-way, thence northwest 117 feet with said street, and parallel to Shallowford Road, thence northeast 595 feet parallel to Gunbarrel Road to the true point of beginning, being part of the property described in deed book 3588, page 380, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 149H-F-1.1 (part). from R-3 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the public welfare requiring it.
